We Give You Everything You Need to Constantly Attract the Unsaved and Unchurched and Lead Them to the Lord and to Joining Your Congregation.
Rev. Sheldon Nix, Ph.D., M.S.W.
In 1973, at 17 years old, God spoke to me and called me to be a Pastor. With the image of my grandfather Rev. Andrew Nix, Sr. in my mind (I thought he had died in the pulpit and I didn't want that to happen to me), I said "No." The bed I was lying on shook, and He said again, "I want you to be a Pastor." Again, I said "No!"
I thought, like Jonah, that I had gotten away with it. While on the "high seas" I...
Got my Masters in Social Work and learned how to deliver practical services to people;
Got my Ph.D in Counseling Psychology and learned how to understand people at a deep level and transform their whole way of thinking and responding;
Graduated from Coach University as a Life and Business Coach and learned how to change people's lives more quickly;
Built a $2 million a Year Nonprofit from scratch, learning how to do grant-writing and grow a large organization.
As with the Apostle Paul's background, God is using all that training and experience, but continued to insist that I plant a church and Pastor it for 10 years. So in 2004, He found me while driving home from a movie and I had to yield to His call. With my whole heart. At His direction, I launched Life Worth Living Fellowship with Rev. John Finney and a team of believers.
But I made a BIG mistake!
So after I turned my church over to Rev. Finney as planned, I knew there had to be a way to grow the church through social media. I became an EMyth Certified Business Coach and also started learning from some of the best internet marketers out there, spending over $50,000 getting their closely-guarded secrets.
I figured that the same strategies they used to draw people into their expensive coaching and training programs would enable us pastors to draw people into our (free) life-changing programs and events.
And I was right! Together with two Pastor friends who served as my "test group," we discovered how to use those same strategies to draw Seekers to a church. The result is the system you now have the opportunity to use to grow your church.
(I'll explain about the "circles" of your ministry during the training.)
To get more and more visitors to your church (or attendees at your conferences and seminars), we use a proven 3-step process:
We give you "Belief Shifting" posts to get people rethinking what they believe about issues in their lives. Using posts and guides for doing quick selfie videos, you begin to show people uninterested in "church" or "religion" that YOU have some profound insights for them about life.
We use some proven approaches to getting these mental shifts that prepare people to accept your offer of help you make in Step 2.
Once you have attracted them, you engage with them by sending them emails and text messages (and Facebook/Instagram posts) inviting them to a live online event like a webinar or Facebook live so you can meet them, they can meet you, and you can start building a relationship with them. And they go from becoming aware of you to interested in you. Some will make a decision right away to visit your church, but the vast majority will need to start engaging with you in special events.
Once you have attracted their attention and interest, you deliver a sermon series designed specifically for the unchurched. There are 5 key "Pillars" of a "Seeker Sensitive Sermon Series" and we give you thorough training in what those are. A series of 6 - 8 messages allows time for people to take notice "out there" and decide to attend or watch online.
Now you engage with them by inviting them to a live event like a webinar or in-person seminar
so you can meet them, they can meet you, and you can start building a relationship with them.
And once they’ve come to a short seminar or other low-commitment event and started to trust you, then you can invite them to an ongoing Seeker-sensitive ministry at your church or somewhere else.
A 4-session workshop series or one day conference, or other seeker-sensitive ministries are excellent opportunities for them to get real help from you, meet some of your people, and become more open to your full ministry. You can also have 1:1 conversations with them via text, phone, or in-person.

Seeker-Sensitive Sermon Topics and Title Ideas: While God will lead you, of course, we find that many pastors aren't used to developing and titling sermons focused on the unchurched. So for whatever workshop outreach program you select, we'll give you lots of in-depth ideas designed to help you understand what people are struggling with and how you can reach them with sermons designed for them (members will also be blessed, of course, because they have the same needs as the unchurched.)
PowerPoint: If you use PowerPoints or other graphics when you preach (and most pastors do these days), we give you PowerPoint templates designed to match the workshop theme and colors. This helps get you better noticed because it takes time to cut through the noise and stand out as a pastor. Also use this PowerPoint template in your mid-week Bible study.
Facebook/Instagram Promotional Posts: Start using these to get interest in this sermon series. You get the graphics which you can edit so you can put your picture, your address and dates, etc. and suggested text you can copy and paste, then edit to suit your exact message! Then ask your members and other people to share them as well.
Postcards: Another way to give people information about the sermon series. Edit the details on Canva. Then get your people to pass them out widely. Note: We suggest you promote both your Sunday message on a topic and your mid-week in-depth teaching on that same topic.
Fliers: Edit these (also on Canva) and then get them printed and handed out.
Start using these to get interest in this topic. You get the graphics and suggested (proven) text so all you have to do is copy and paste, then start posting one or two a day a few weeks before your workshop! And have your people share them as well.
Front side attracts their attention and the back side gives them the basic details and then tries to get them to go to the Information and Registration Page. Edit these (on Canva) and then get them printed and handed out. They are the easiest off-line way to get your people to hand them out to their friends, family members, co-workers, or anyone else they think might be interested.
Edit these (also on Canva) and then get them printed and handed out. They can also be placed in barber shops, salons, nonprofit organizations, and other places (because you are not promoting something "religious" but a "community program".
If you do decide to set up a page for people to pre-register (which I recommend and which we obviously provide to the pastors in our full program), then here is excellent language for you to copy.

They are the easiest off-line way to get your people to hand them out to their friends, family members, co-workers, or anyone else they think might be interested. Don't ask me why, but I've found that members are more willing to invite people to "non-religious" events than to church, especially if they can just hand them a postcard or flier. I think it's because they feel people will see it as suggesting something that might help rather than "cramming religion" down their throats! Go figure.

Workbook: The entire guide and worksheets are in one document. You will walk them through the guide using the PowerPoint, adding that "preaching/ministering" part as you go along introducing each section.
PowerPoint: The PowerPoint guides them through the handout. It doesn't add new content as you want to get them familiar with the main concepts that are in their workbook.
It should leave them engaged, satisfied, but also hungry, knowing they need more help...from YOU and your ministry!

All too often we pastors operate alone, with just lay leaders as our sounding board. Or we attend conferences and read books. But what we need are other pastors and experts committed to growing churches and sharing their strategies on a regular basis.
